This event is all set to take its place in Kolkata on August 20, this thrilling event is organized by Just Sportz, operating under the esteemed guidance of FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India).
About JK Tyre Ladies Power Drive 2023
Organized by Just Sportz and operating under the esteemed umbrella of FMSCI, the upcoming event takes the form of a TSD rally. This rally format is the most accessible in Motorsport, welcoming individuals with a valid driving license to join in with a navigator by their side, guiding them through the rally route. The essence of TSD rallies lies in assessing the precision of drivers and navigators in maintaining accurate speed and timing while following a prescribed route using a tulip diagram.
Unlike traditional speed-centric races, TSD rallies prioritize timing and strategies which is crucial for achieving optimal outcomes across various stages. Participants in this event will gain invaluable insights into the art of professional rally driving, all without the need for high speeds or specialized vehicles. The skills honed through these TSD rallies were often conducted using regular street cars. These skills form a robust foundation for those who are seeking a future in motorsport culture.
Role and Aim of JK Tyre in Motorsport Culture
In collaboration with FMSCI, the company has embraced the impactful global endeavour known as The Girls on Track (GoT) program, pioneered by FIA. This visionary initiative serves as an open invitation for women to step into the exhilarating world of motorsports, with a special focus on karting. This program is designed to promote awareness at the grassroots level.
