As a yearly tradition Ola is set to host an event tomorrow on the Independence day. We expect Ola to unveil and or tease new upcoming vehicles, an electric bike or an electric car is anticipated. Moreover they are set to reveal a new version of their OS, dubbed Move OS 4. New features will be added to the software suite , let us discuss what those features could be.
Ola Concert Mode
A concert mode is anticipated to make its debut in Move OS 4. This new feature builds upon the existing party mode found in Move OS 3, which replicates the ambiance of disco lights. In contrast, the concert mode is designed to facilitate scooters in synchronizing with each other, creating a harmonious visual and auditory experience. This mode will allow multiple scooters to play the same music while their lights blink in unison, enhancing the overall spectacle.

New Moods
Secondly, new Moods will be added to the existing 3 Mood themes to choose from. Originally, they had teased several themes on the unveil event of the Ola S1 scooter. Those missing themes or similar to those themes are anticipated to be included in the Move OS 4.
Ola Battery Health Monitor
As seen on the iPhones a battery health monitor feature will be added to the Move OS 4. Owners might be able to see battery health percentages. Moreover, it could provide battery replacement notification or battery service notification.

Shared Keys
Additionally, Ola may also introduce a feature where owners will be able to share a digital key with anyone via the Ola electric app. It could be a useful feature if you don’t want to share your passcode with the other person.
Live Regen Control
Currently, Regen modes can only be changed once the scooter is in park mode. However, this could be changed with the Move OS 4 as they might add the option to change the Regen mode on the go.
Smart Headlamp
Changes to the Smart headlamp feature are also anticipated. Currently a lot of bugs are present in the Smart headlamp system, these are to be addressed and we could we could see more options with the DRL setup.
Precise Ola Hypercharger Network
Presently, the Hypercharger locator software is lack lustre, and lacks those key features which we are accustomed to with Ather and other EV manufacturers. It is expected to feature those quality of life changes to the existing Hypercharger locater. It will add features like the current condition of the charger, the status of the charger and whether it is occupied or vacant.
Ola Geo Fencing and Anti Theft Alarm
Lastly, Geo fencing and Anti theft features are to be added in the Move OS 4. Owners will receive a notification and alarm will go off if someone tries to steal or tow your Ola scooter.
Conclusion
Software development is a gradual concept it takes time to implement the correct and redundant software. That being said Ola with the Move OS 3 has come a long way from the awfully bad Move OS 1. Yet, not all has been fixed with the Move OS 3 but Ola might be headed in the right direction. With the Ola Move OS 4 if they polish their software, they might cover back some lost ground.
