Jawa Yezdi motorcycles have undergone a remarkable transformation with significant upgrades. Now, the classic brand has launched the updated version of the Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles. These bikes are not only BS6 phase-2 compliant but also received significant tweaks to the engine for enhanced reliability.
Updates in the Jawa and Yezdi range
Jawa has updated the powertrain of the 42, 42 Bobber, and Perak models for enhanced performance and reliability. The company has reworked the engine components to improve NVH levels and performance. Moreover, the Jawa has added a larger throttle body, and the engines are remapped. The exhaust ports have been increased in size, and the 42 features a new exhaust muffler.
Additionally, the 42 has been upgraded with an assist-and-slipper clutch. These updates will not only improve the bikes’ performance but also make them more environmentally friendly. In the Yezdi series, the brand has tweaked its engine and added a new large rear sprocket. This results in enhanced acceleration and tractability of the Yezdi series of bikes.
Pricing of the range
The Jawa has increased the prices of its entire range after significant tweaks to its powertrain. The difference in the prices ranges from Rs. 2,000 to 6,000 with the average sits at Rs. 4,000 across the lineup. In percentage, the hike in the prices varies from 0.8-2%.
