MG Motor India recently celebrated the success of its electric SUV, ZS EV with the brand selling over 5,000 Units of ZS EV since its launch. The EV has been pretty successful in the Indian market and it garners 5000 bookings every month. The highest sales and bookings were archived in July and August 2021, respectively.

Coming to the looks upfront, the MG ZS EV facelift features a revised front fascia. The front grille is completely shut due to it being an EV and it now gets full-LED Hawkeye headlamps with LED DRLs to highlight the visuals upfront. The side features 17-inch Tomahawk hub design alloy wheels which are different when compared to the Astor. The rear gets LED tail lamps and a faux skid plate. The charging port is enclosed behind the front grille. It is available in Red, Silver, Grey, and Black colors.

The 2022 MG ZS EV offers a better range of 461 km with a battery pack rated at 50.3 kWh. It gets a 176 hp motor which enables it to achieve 0-100 km/h in under 9 seconds. The ZS EV can be charged in many ways, including an onboard charging cable, AC Fast Chargers, DC Super Fast Chargers at MG Dealerships, public charging network, and road assistance. The cabin of this EV features a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen with smart technology for 74+ connected car features such as voice commands for various car operations, remote lock/unlock, and even remote start. Other features of this MG include a digital instrument cluster, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, rear center armrest, a 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable driver seat, and wireless phone charging, auto wipers, drive modes, and heated ORVMs.

While the safety features of ZS EV include six airbags, TPMS, ESP, HLA, HDC, EPB, Blind-spot detection system, pedestrian detection system, rear cross-traffic alert, and ISOFIX mounts, to name a few. The price of the ZS EV Excite variant is ₹21.98 lakh and the Exclusive variant is priced at ₹25.88 lakhs. The MG ZS EV goes up against the Hyundai Kona and Tata Nexon EV Max.
