Popular Japanese auto maker Suzuki intends to soon start selling a new variant of its popular hatchback Swift in Russia. In autumn this year, we will see Suzuki launching the new Suzuki Swift 4Ñ…4 in the Russian market. The launch details of the all-wheel drive variant of the famous hatchback have been revealed by representative of Suzuki in Russia to AutoSreda periodical.
Currently, the Swift is available in Russia with a 1.2 liter, 94 hp petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox, transmitting power to the front wheels.
The Russia spec Swift is quite feature laden and comes equipped with stuff like electric heated side mirrors, heated front seats, front and side airbags and curtain airbags, audio system, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill start assist control (for automatic transmission).
The prices for the model of Russia spec Swift start at 569,500 roubles.
Other than launching the new Swift all wheel drive model, Suzuki will also launch two new versions of the SX4 and the new S-Cross crossover in Russia this year.
