VIDEO: The Tamo Racemo takes on the Toyota GT86 in a virtual drag race

The Tamo Racemo is India’s first car to feature in a video game. The thing even has a 3-display instrumentation setup behind it real world gaming wheel which would make any virtual monkey jump in glee. Powered by a 1.2 T Revotron mill which is good for  187.4HP and 210 Nm of twist, this thing can sprint from 0-100 kph in under 6 seconds! While there’s still some time before you could open one of its gull-wing doors in real life, here’s what the car can do in the virtual world.

It goes against a 2013 Toyota GT86, a compact sports car built that was dialed back in time to recapture the true spirit of driving. Powered by a Subaru sourced 2.0-liter, flat four boxer which cranks out 197 bhp, this simple approach towards making the joys of driving more affordable can go from 0 – 100 kph in 7.6 seconds. The NA mill might be slower off the line, but it makes a wee bit more power and makes it a higher rev point. Not a real life duel, but these modern day video games do spend a lot of time to capture and replicate every aspect of a real life machine, down to the last bit. Take a look.
