Automobile manufacturers are having a good festive season as companies are reporting positive sales figures for the month of August, year on year.
The latest to report positive sales figure for the month of August was Royal Enfield. Continuing its strong sales momentum in 2014, Royal Enfield recorded sale of 26,643 motorcycles in combined domestic wholesale and exports in August 2014 recording a growth of 66% over same period last year.

The domestic sales grew by 66 percent at 26,121 units in August this year as against 15,708 units over same period last year. The export sales on the other hand grew by 47 percent at 522 units in August as against 354 units over same period last year.
With the festive season in full swing, we feel that the numbers would improve further in coming days.
