It is official! Triump motorcycles, the much awaited British bike marque, will officially set its foot on Indian soil on November 28! This means that the day is not far when any bike aficionado in the country can simply grab his cheque book and head to the local Triumph dealer, to buy himself the coveted Daytona or equally attractive Speed Triples. Also coming our way are a host of other models, including the Triumph Tiger XC (seen in the teaser image above).
Motorcycle enthusiasts would remember that Triumph unveiled its product portfolio for India at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo and even announced model-wise prices. If Triumph is to retain these prices, the Triumph Bonneville, which would be the entry level model in Triumph India line up, would go on sale for a price of INR 5.5 Lakhs. The very exciting Rocket III will become the flagship model and go on sale for a rather steep INR 22 Lakhs.
Check out the complete Triumph India price list (as announced in January 2012)-
- Bonneville: Rs 5.5 Lakh
- Street Triple: Rs 5.75 Lakh
- Daytona 675: Rs 7 Lakh
- Speed Triple: Rs 8 Lakh
- Tiger 800XC: Rs 11.4 Lakh
- Storm: Rs 17 Lakh
- Rocket III Roadster: Rs 22 Lakh
However, thanks to various factors, such as rupee-dollar fluctuations, it is expected that there will be a slight increase in the prices shown above. In spite of the increased price tag, we reckon that an entry in to the Triumph club won’t set you back by more than INR 6.25 lakhs.
