Range Rover Evoque is Women’s World Car of the Year 2012

The Range Rover Evoque has been getting a lot of recognition ever since the world first saw it. Now, it has been awarded with the title of the Women’s World Car of the Year 2012. The car now has 110 awards to its credit.

This award was given after judgement of a panel of 17 women motoring writers from different corners of the world. The cars were judged on parameters like safety, space, child-friendliness, environmental performance, design and value for money factor.

John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director said “The Women’s World Car of the Year title further reflects the great market reach of Evoque. Across the world, women are a customer base in their own right, so it is vital for any manufacturer to ensure their products meet their preferences and requirements. As a vehicle designed, engineered and built in Britain, the Range Rover Evoque continues to demonstrate its world-class appeal. We are delighted that as well as the 111 honours it has received for its design, engineering and performance, it has proved just as successful in terms of excellent global sales.”
