R.Madhavan Fans Rejoice! Maruti Wagon R Madhavan Signature Edition Launched

| September 16, 2013 | 2 Comments

It seems like Maruti Suzuki, the nation’s largest selling car maker, just can’t resist launching one Wagon R special variant after another. Soon after Maruti Suzuki India Launched the Stingray, which is essentially a Wagon R with some minor updates, comes the new Maruti Wagon R Madhavan Signature Edition.

As is obvious, the latest Wagon R limited edition is endorsed by Indian actor, R. Madhavan. It may be noted that R. Madhavan is also the brand ambassador for the Wagon R and hence, it is no surprise that the car maker decided to come up with a special variant in his name. The latest Wagon R limited edition variant gets some additional accessories and (hold your breath!) lots of new graphics with the actor’s signature. (Were you seriously expecting more?)

The additional equipment on offer includes a new 2-DIN Kenwood audio system which has got USB and AUX support, rear parking sensors with a digital display, a Bluetooth kit and faux leather covers for seats and steering wheel. Also on offer is a new door sill guard, full wheel covers and a rear roof spoiler.

Maruti says all this additional equipment is worth INR 32,000. However, the buyers of this car need to shell out only INR 20000 extra over standard variants and hence, benefit from a saving of INR 12,000. Further deal sweetener comes from a discount vouchers of INR 5,100 and 0.5% discount on the interest rate.

  1. First of all we don't to buy a Wagon R.. Its funny and all time joke to own a wagon R with some b** S** actor signature. Maruti should stop all this funny rather think innovative.

  2. Sorry, I agree Maruti is innovative with such a marketing :)
