Last night, we were easily the very first in the country to post that the Yamaha R25 production model has good chances of being unveiled on March 25. CLICK HERE FOR OUR EARLIER STORY ON YAMAHA R25 PRODUCTION MODEL.

The video clip that teases the upcoming Yamaha product seems to have come straight out of a sci-fi movie and this small clip here hints that Yamaha could be promoting the upcoming model with ‘RevSTATION’ tag. While Yamaha has so far refrained from revealing any specific details of the bike shown in this video, it does provide us with a sneak peek at the Yamaha R25 concept. Hence, it is very probable that this clip here teases the Yamaha R25 release date, which could fall on March 25.

Powering the production Yamaha R25 would be a 250cc parallel twin motor that is likely to have a max power of 35PS. The engine will come mated to a six speed manual gearbox. There are good chances that Yamaha would ocme up with a single cylinder 250cc engine for cost-sensitive markets like that of ours. This engine would have only little less power but similar torque figures. While the R15 features a Steel Sparts frame, the upcoming model will be built around a new tubular frame. A step backwards we reckon? What do you say?

In India, the R25 will rival the stylish Hyosung GT250R, highly promising single cylinder Kawasaki Ninja 250 Mono and the recently unveiled Honda CBR300R. The R25 will be locally produced here, which will help in keeping the costs competitive.
