Aston Martin to launch a new product in the country every 9 months

British luxury automobile manufacture Aston Martin has announced that the company will introduce a new model every nine months in India. The iconic car maker recently launched the DB11 in the country for a price tag of Rs. 4.27 crore (Ex-Showroom, India). The company’s product portfolio for India currently includes the Vanquish series, the Vantage series, Rapide S and the DB11.

Speaking to PTI, Neil Slade, President, Aston Martin Middle East and North Africa, said that the market has been fairly stagnant due to harsher economic conditions. However, with the new products coming, they expect real growth in India. He refused to reveal any details on the sales target for the next two years, although he said that the company expects good growth considering the fact they will be launching every nine months from now in India.

He further went on to add that their second century plan will start with a complete line up that will be released in the next five years. Speaking about the target customers for the recently launched DB11, he said that the model will be targeted towards current high-end luxury car owners that may include a businessmen in the late 40’s or early 50’s as well as their children in their late teens who would also enjoy the car. Also included would be people in their early 20’s and some in the late 60’s who buy the cars for the thrill of owning them.
