Yamaha Motor India has recalled its Alpha scooter over faulty engine cylinder head O-ring. The faulty part is said to have an oil leakage issue. According to a TeamBHP member, Yamaha Motor India would be contacting the customers to replace the faulty unit. The replacement of the cylinder head o-ring is likely to take three hours.

Launched in 2014, the Alpha is Yamaha’s third scooter offering to the Indian consumers. the 113cc single–cylinder, 4-stroke scooter motor churns out 7 hp of power and 8.1 Nm of torque.
