Suzuki Motorcycle India has initiated a service camp especially for their recently launched 2016 Suzuki Access 125. The all-new product was launched by the auto manufacturer in the month of March this year for a price of INR 53,887 (Ex-Showroom-Delhi). As per the Suzuki Motorcycle’s India website, the units manufactured between 8 March 2016 and 22 June 2016 have been affected and are included in the camp.
From 13 July 2016, Suzuki will have their dealers contact all the owners of the vehicles that are covered in the camp. In an official statement released by Suzuki Motorcycle India, the company states that it will have the rear axle shaft of these affected vehicles inspected and replaced if necessary as a precautionary measure. The replacement of the of the particular spare part will be done free of cost. Also, as a goodwill basis, Suzuki will offer a free periodic maintenance service to all the customers who will report to the dealership for replacement. In order to know if their vehicle is covered in the service camp, customers can check by visiting their Suzuki dealer and providing the purchase details of their Access 125 scooter.
According to a Suzuki Motorcycle spokesperson, “In pursuance of Suzuki’s commitment to customer satisfaction and as a matter of abundant precaution and safety, we have decided to undertake this service campaign on the New Access 125 scooters to address issues of rear axle/wheel stability that has been identified in some of these scooters.”
