Ducati has launched the Multistrada 1200 Enduro at INR 17.44 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is now available across Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. Powering the model is the 160 Bhp Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) with Euro 4 homologation.
The Multistrada 1200 Enduro, according to the company, is built to be at ease on any type of terrain and is able to stand up to the stresses and strains of both off-road and on road riding. The 19 inch spoked front wheel and 17 inch rear, together with the 200 mm wheel travel are said to ensure comfort on and off road. The model features semi-active electronic front and rear Sachs suspension apart from a 30-litre fuel tank, giving it a range of 450 km.
The Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes equipped with a Full-TFT display that displays the four riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. The model also features such as cornering ABS, Ducati traction control, Ride by Wire system, Ducati wheelie control, the semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution, full LED lights cruise control, hands-free ignition and back-lit handlebar switches. The advanced electronics detect jumps and automatically adjusts the suspension to provide a softer landing.
The motorcycle also features a vehicle hold control system that holds the braking and assists uphill starts or when the bike is fully loaded. The Ducati Multimedia System lets riders connect their smartphones to the bike via Bluetooth and answer calls, listen to music, be informed of incoming text messages and record the ride data and share it on social networks.
