After staying dormant for years in the Indian motorcycle market, Yamaha introduced its ground breaking models, FZ, FZS and R15 in 2008 which featured more sporty and muscular styling than any other motorcycle in the 150cc category at that time. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer then upgraded the R15 with the introduction of version 2. The FZ series, over the years, just received cosmetic changes. But earlier this year, Yamaha introduced the second version of its 150cc sporty commuter motorcycle, the FZS Fi. The new FZ series receives fuel injection as against the carburettor unit in the previous model.
The FZ series enjoys a monopoly in terms of styling in the 150cc segment. But another Japanese manufacturer is eyeing the segment which FZ series has ruled for over six years. Suzuki is all set to sell its new 150cc offering, the Gixxer 155 which, in many aspects, is similar to the FZS. So we compare the two motorcycles on paper and here is what the list looks like:

gixxer has very good pick up. it has long gears. means you can take the bike in third gear to 80kmph.
The Gixxer has an advantage in terms of performance. If you want to go solely for looks, decide what pleases your eyes more yourself

Gixxer 155 looks good …. Better package overall ….I would definitely buy gixxer
