We’ll never be able to drive one, but all of us can still drive the VW GTI Supersport Vision GT. Confused? Well it isn’t an actual car, but a virtual machine that will feature in the dangerously realistic Gran Turismo 6 racing simulator available for the PS3. This virtual supercar is based on an actual Golf GTI and will succeed the GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo, which is already a car that features in the franchise.

With only three doors and a super wide track, the GTI Supersport gets an extreme body kit with a humongous rear spoiler to assist downforce. According to VW, the car’s proportions and body panels have been carved to achieve a ridiculously low center of gravity. Other noticeable elements are the enormous radiator grille, a diffuser with twin tail pipes, floating spokes on the alloys and a lighting system that belongs to the year 2100. Virtual power comes from a  TSI engine that liberates 503 PS  and 665 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. The GTI Supersport will sprint from 0 – 100 on your TV screens in 3.6 seconds, hitting top speeds of more than 300 kph.
