Turbo charged 381 bhp BMW S1000RR

These are some of the pictures of a 381bhp BMW S1000RR bike, which has been tuned by another of those crazy piston heads. And all of those 381 horses are delivered at the wheel, and not at the crank. One could only imagine what a monster this machine would be ride, and whether the world has seen any tyres yet to find traction while it accelerates in full swing from a standstill. Just for perspective, that power is one and a half times the power of a MotoGP machine.

This is the first time the S1000RR has been given the turbo treatment anywhere in the world, and the results are quite brain boggling. Why so late? You would like to ask. Well, apparently the electronics of the BMW 1000cc scorcher are so advanced that all such earlier attempts have failed. Jack Frost of Holeshot racing seems to have deciphered the code though.

UK’s leading motorcycle weekly MCN has ridden the bike, and the report will be published in the Jaunary 12 edition. We’d try our best to get a copy. Do send us a scan if you get your hands on one.
