Look again if you thought that the bike in the lead image is a Triumph Street Triple! Instead, the bike that you see is an upcoming single-cylinder 250cc motorcycle that will become the new Triumph entry-level street bike.
The upcoming biking will be built on a simple steel tube frame, which would be connected to a box-section swingarm and will hold a small capacity liquid cooled engine. The front fascia of the Triumph entry level bike has been inspired from that of the 2013 Triumph Street Triple. The bike also gets a bulbous tank, plastic radiator shrouds and a large one piece seat.
The bike will come equipped with a single front disc brake that will have ha two-piston, sliding caliper. The components are highly likely to be manufactured in Triumph’s Thailand facility, with assembly for Indian market happening in the new Chennai facility.
This street naked could also spawn more variants in near future. Some of these could a bigger 350cc engine.
