Toyota Etios Platinum Limited Edition Launched: Price, Images, Features and Details

New Toyota Etios Platinum LImited edition launched in India - check out the new features, prices, interior changes

Toyota has launched the Etios Platinum Limited Edition in India.  The new Platinum Etios gets a bunch of new features along with a new exclusive colour. The new colour on the sedan is the Phantom Brown though the car can be had in Pearl White and Silver colours as well.

The changes on the new Etios Platinum Edition are essentially cosmetic. On the inside, the car gets a two-tone theme for seats in ivory and brown. The seats are finished in artificial leather in place of fabric. Another feature addition is the inclusion of a new 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new infotainment system gets AM/FM radio, DVD/CD, USB, AUX, Bluetooth along with voice recognition and remote control. The pattern on the door arm-rest is also different from the standard car.

The Etios Platinum Limited Edition gets twin airbags and ABS with EBD as standard. The back bench of the car gets adjustable head rests and proper three point seat belts for all three occupants at the rear. The seats on the car also get an ISOFIX child seat lock.

The Etios Platinum Limited Edition is available in Available in  both petrol and diesel variants. The Etios Platinum Edition is priced at Rs 9 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs. 10.3 lakh for the diesel version.

The standard Platinum Etios gets a new chrome surrounded grille with four horizontal chrome strips holding the Toyota badge in place. The fog lamps have angular fog lamp surrouds to add to the visual appeal. The doors on the Etios Platinum Edition are body coloured and the side moldings on the doors get chrome lining. The boot gets a chrome insert as well, while the B pillar has been blacked out in keeping with the trend on most cars in the segment.

The standard car also gets a 3-spoke multifunction leather wrapped steering wheel. The infotainment system on the standard car is a 6.8-inch unit. The car also gets electric foldable ORVMs, height adjustable driver’s seat and tilt adjustable steering, cooled glove box, rear parking sensors, keyless entry and rear defogger.


The Etios Platinum Limited Edition, similar to the standard car gets a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 89 Hp of power and 132 Nm of torque. The diesel option is powered by a 1.4-litre unit with 67 BHP and 170 Nm. Both engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
