Race 2 was where things changed, and mind it (Chennai style) the change wasn’t small! Shailesh Bolisetti got involved in an incident with female racer Alisha Abdullah and Oshan Kothadiya in the first lap itself, thus falling all the way to the back end of the field. Though he did recover and gain places afterward, Shailesh only managed to finish 8th. Meanwhile Parth Ghorpade maintained his consistent performance throughout the race and earned himself a clean victory ahead of an equally consistent and focused Mohd. Fahad Kutty. Imran Majid took the third position and his first podium finish in the 2010 Polo Cup. Though Sailesh finished 8th he still maintains the lead in Championship Standings and has a meagre 20 point lead over Parth – who all charged up and raring to go. Will the standings shuffle with only two more rounds (four more races) to go? We’ll have to wait and watch!
