PETRONAS TVS Racing welcomes applications from aspiring racers for the Women and Rookie division of the PETRONAS TVS One Make Championship 2023

Since 1982, TVS Racing has placed a priority on developing talent. For the seventh time, the women’s division of the PETRONAS TVS One Make Championship will be held. TVS Racing has trained more than 500 female riders in the nation since 2016. They are now preparing to hold its training and selection rounds for the 2023 batch. Underpinned by its basic principle that the “chequered flag does not differentiate.”

In addition, the Rookie category, which focuses on developing young talent, is back for a third time after training more than 50 rookie riders nationwide since 2021. Young racers and aspiring riders will be given the best platform possible during the training session. This will ignite their enthusiasm for motorcycle racing.

On January 28, 2023, Bangalore will host the first phase of the selection process. On February 4, 2023, Pune will host the second stage of the selection process. National champions from the PETRONAS TVS Racing stable will lead full-day training sessions for both of the rounds. The participants’ familiarization with the racing motorcycles and the track will be aided by the training plan.

The top 20 competitors from each venue will be chosen to compete in the final round at MMRT Chennai.

The rookie category will ride the TVS Apache RR 200. The female racers will get the chance to ride the race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The racers will receive specialized training from TVS Racing’s national champion riders after the final selection round in Chennai.

The trainings will assist the selected racers. The team will help in concentrating on raising their level of ability and physical fitness prior to the 2023 Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC). Selection criteria

  1. Women category: Requires a valid two-wheeler driving license or a Level-1 FMSCI certified training received from any racing training school
  2. Rookie category: Participants should be aged between 11 and 18 years with Level-1 FMSCI certified training received from any racing training school, and need to be accompanied by a guardian
