The New 2014 Honda Mobilio: Price, Variants, Accessories and Features explained

Honda has finally launched it’s much awaited MPV, the Mobilio in India (Read our review here). The 7-seater Mobilio will be available in 3 grades offered in Petrol and Diesel variants – E, S and V with manual transmission. The sportier Mobilio RS variant will be launched in September and will be available in a diesel only option. So before you leave home to book one for yourself, we explain all the prices, variants, accessories and their features in details.

The Honda Mobilio will be made available in seven different exterior paint options.

  • Brilliant Gold Metallic.
  • Carnelian Red Pearl.
  • Majestic Blue Metallic.
  • Urban Titanium Metallic.
  • Alabaster Silver Metallic.
  • Tafetta White
  • Crystal Black Pearl (Exclusive to the RS).

All cars will come with 2-years or 40,000 kms standard warranty and according to Honda, maintenance cost is the lowest in it’s segment. Deliveries have started today as bookings had opened on the 8th of July.

All the Diesel variants will be powered by a 1.5 litre, DOHC, i-DTEC engine which develops 100 ps of power and 200 Nm of torque., while the Petrol engine is a 1.5 litre, SOHC, i-VTEC unit that develops 119 ps of power and 145 Nm of torque. Fuel-efficiency wise the Diesel Mobilio is rated for an Arai tested 24.2 kmpl while the petrol is rated for 17.9 kmpl. The cabin has been designed to emulate the feeling of being inside a Private Jet, spacious and comfortable. The Mobilio has a turning radius of 5.2m, which makes driving this vehicle in the city a breeze.

Power windows and Central locking are standard on all variants. The (E) variant has no Vanity mirrors or an accessory socket. It has speakers only in the front. while the rest of them have additional rear speakers.

Petrol (E) :- 6,49,000; Diesel (E) :- 7,89,000.

E variant gets chrome front grille, ABS with EBD (Diesel Only), 2nd and 3rd row reclining seats, Manual Air-conditioning, Tilt adjuster and a high mounted LED stop lamp.

Petrol (S) :- 7,50,900; Diesel (S) :- 8,60,000

Over and above all the features on the (E), The S Variant gets an integrated 2 DIN audio system, rear AC vents, driver seat height adjuster, rear defogger, keyless entry, body coloured ORVM and outside door handles.

Petrol (V):- 8,76,900; Diesel (V) :- 9,76,000.

The V Variant gets all the features from the above two plus driver and passenger side airbags, 10 spoke alloys, 2nd row sliding, rear wiper and washer, front fog lamps, security alarm, two tone interior with 2nd row center arm rest.

Diesel (RS) :- 10,86,000.

RS Variant comes in diesel only option, projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps, Sporty front and rear bumpers with a different grille, stylish new alloy design, a sporty tailgate spoiler, chrome door handles and retractable ORVM with turn indicators. Will be launched in September in an exclusive Pearl Black shade.

  1. I completely agree Rajeev. Just imagine the basic facility of moving the middle seat is available only in top variant. ABS/EBD again only in top variant(petrol).
    There is no comfort in sitting in middle row due to lack of thigh support (compared to Ertiga). What will the person sitting will do with leg space if his butt is not comfortable 🙂

  2. Very disappointed with the over all quality of interiors and body.
    the biggest disappointments is the price tag vas features .
    Honda seems to take Indian customer for guarantee with quality Vs price

    Believe it 50% customer awaiting for it will turn off and go to Duster, Verna and Ford Eco sports
