According to the officials, the youngsters with funky hairstyles who were caught riding their motorcycles without a helmet were given a haircut. Why a haircut you ask? Well the reason cited by the police was this punishment would teach them a lesson as they spend a decent amount on such hairstyles. The south bound bikers were arrested during a nakabandi that is said to be conducted on a regular basis.

When police officials asked these youngsters where they were headed to it did not yield any satisfactory reply. They were then taken to the police station where a barber was called and three to four of the accused were given haircuts. These bikers, reported to have been speeding on the WEH were taken into custody in the presence of DCP Virendra Mishra and Senior Inspector Sujata Patil. These barricades helped the police to nab bikers and their gangs who often indulge in stunts and racing.
