MTV and Steelbird Launch a Cool New Range of Helmets

After foraying into innerwear, lingerie, footwear, adventure bikes, eye-wear and other consumer products categories, MTV along with “Steelbird Helmets” launches a co-branded range of riding gear. MTV, a youth iconic brand, partners with Steelbird, one of the oldest helmet manufacturing companies, to create an exciting new range of MTV branded Helmets. The range will soon be available at major helmet retail stores. Availability will start from 10 stores initially and will expand to 200 stores apart from authorized franchisee dealers.

Steelbird feels that helmets, today, apart from being a mandate for a safe & secure riding, have become an extension of one’s own personality. In line with this belief, the MTV range of helmets is designed keeping in mind the youth, who symbolize their helmets as their own identity.

Commenting on the range Mr. Shailendra Jain – Head (Sales & Marketing) stated that; “Adding this as one more category to its already existing vast range of product line up is an all new range of helmets that will be launched soon. This move is a gift for Biking passionate as they will be able to have a feel of an uncompromised biking experience with these sturdy helmets”.

Speaking on the tie up Viacom18, said, “Riding Gear are surely becoming a regular feature of more and more people’s lives, both as a safe and secure healthy commute as well as a lifestyle statement. We are delighted to partner with Steelbird Helmets, to launch MTV range of Helmets in India – a range that is as flamboyant in design as it is good and sturdy in quality”.

“Wearing helmet is as necessary as wearing shades on the go and now more and more people are realizing the benefits of a helmet. We at Steelbird have been providing all new aspiring different ranges for the riders to have a safer ride. MTV’s main target demographic is adolescents and teenagers.
