In a bid to keep up with the competition, Maruti Suzuki has been constantly updating its lineup over the past few months. As a part of this strategy, the Maruti Ertiga was set to receive a refresh too. Now, the facelifted Ertiga has been launched at ₹8.35 lakh. The Ertiga facelift not only features some cosmetic changes but also a new powertrain. Let’s take a look at the prices and everything new with it:

What’s new?
The cosmetic changes to the new Ertiga are limited to a new chrome winged front grille, new machined two-tone alloy wheels, and a back door garnish with chrome insert. The new Ertiga features two new colors, namely, Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown. The interior features a new metallic teak-wooden finish and dual-tone fabric seats. The new Ertiga borrows the 7-inch Smartplay pro infotainment system from the Baleno. It gets a voice assistant that can be activated with the ‘Hi Suzuki’ command.
It gets connected car tech called Suzuki Connect which offers over 40+ features. The car can be remotely accessed through a compatible smartwatch & voice connectivity through the Suzuki Connect skill for Amazon Alexa. Customers can remotely access & operate the AC function, door lock, headlamps OFF, hazard lights, alarm, and many other features through these devices. The updated Ertiga comes with additional safety features such as 4 airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. Other features include a parking camera, cruise control, auto headlamps, automatic climate control, a color MID, electrically foldable ORVMs, air-cooled cupholders, and AC vents for all three rows.
The new Ertiga comes powered by a new K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT with idle start/stop technology. It produces 101hp and 136nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Customers can also opt for a 6-speed torque converter gearbox with paddle shifters. It returns 20.51 km/l in the manual guise and 20.30 km/l when mated to the automatic gearbox. The new Ertiga is also offered with CNG in the VXI and ZXI variants. The CNG variant returns 26.11 km/kg.
