KTM officially unveiled the highly anticipated RC series at an event in Pune on September 9, 2014. The dealers have already started receiving the motorcycle. KTM Navi Mumbai also held a private unveiling ceremony of the KTM RC390 at its showroom where it invited customers to have a clear look at the motorcycle and make bookings for the same. Showroom owner Mr Sachin Vijan and his father Mr Ramesh Vijan unveiled the RC390 in presence of motorcycling enthusiasts. Area service manager, Mayank Bhatt, explained all the features of the RC390 to the audience at the event. The KTM RC390 is priced at Rs 2.32 lakh (OTR) in Navi Mumbai.
Powering the KTM RC390 is a 375cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out around 43.5PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. The RC200 on the other hand is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit that puts out 25hp of power and 19.2Nm of torque. Both motorcycles get premium features such as twin projector headlamps, body integrated pillion, Upside down front suspensions by WP and an aluminium swingarm. The KTM RC390 receives additional features like ABS by BOSCH and Metzeler tyres.
You can walk into the KTM Navi Mumbai showroom opposite Vashi station and check out the RC390. You can also book one for a booking price of Rs 30,000. But you will have to wait out for nearly 90 days to receive your very own RC390.
