CBR250R ABS goes upto 2.1lacs at some places… so is Honda so foolish to price CB500R at just Rs. 40000 more for double the displacement and an extra cylinder?
Moreover it would be a CKD in the beginning i guess… So the pricing of CB500R would be surely above 3.5lakhs… Take my word…
Its impossible that Honda will price CB500R under 3 lakhs, so there is absolutely no competitor for KTM Duke 390 at that price range… Full fairing bike invite more maintainence than a naked bike… Pulsar 200 NS was a great mimic of Duke 200 but not as perfect as the Duke… Same thing will happen with Pulsar 375 it will be a copy of Duke 390 but not even close to it… So anyhow Duke200/390 both are priced agressively to keep their comptetitors away…
Dont worry guys!! CBR500R would not be below 3 lakh…?Duke 390 would be 2.2 for ABS…but Bajaj could surprise everybody with pricing
I’d say Bajaj is much smarter than most of us 😉 At the moment, the Duke 200 is selling well and so is the P200NS. Just wait and watch!
Bajaj is planning to screw KTM. At 2.5 L no body will buy KTM. They will wait for Pulsar 375 which will be 1.6 L. So KTM will give Bajaj technology for free and not get any results. KTM will be doomed. Just like Bajaj screwed Kawasaki, Bajaj will screw KTM also.
