Jeep Meridian Track Edition Arrives at Rs 35.95 Lakh With Big Comfort Upgrade That Families Will Love

Comfort is one thing that Indian SUV buyers never compromise on, especially when the car is meant to carry families over long distances.Jeep seems to have understood this clearly with the new Meridian Track Edition, which is less about being flashy and more about making everyday travel easier and more relaxed.

The Track Edition is a limited production version based on the Meridian Overland. While the SUV keeps its familiar shape, the details are what set it apart. The grille, badges and exterior trims now have Piano Black finishes. There is a darker grille treatment with subtle grey highlights, new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a Track Edition hood decal that gives it a more premium road presence without going over the top.

Step inside and the changes become more meaningful. The cabin now uses a combination of Dark Espresso and beige shades, paired with suede inserts and quilted seat surfaces. The steering wheel receives a leather wrap with fine stitching and Track Edition branding is neatly placed across the interior and floor mats. The quality feels richer and more upmarket than before.

The biggest upgrade is the newly added 140 mm sliding second row. This makes it easier to get into the third row and allows passengers to adjust the legroom according to their needs. For families and long trips, this one change makes a noticeable difference.

Under the hood, nothing changes. The Meridian Track Edition continues with the 2.0 litre diesel engine producing 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It is coupled with a smooth nine-speed automatic gearbox and is offered in both 2WD and 4WD. Jeep’s terrain management system remains available for those who drive beyond paved roads.

Feature highlights include a large touchscreen with wireless phone connectivity, a digital instrument display, Alpine sound system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated powered seats and Level 2 driver assistance features.

Prices start at Rs 35.95 lakh for the automatic version and go up to Rs 37.82 lakh for the 4WD variant, excluding a small mandatory accessory pack. Bookings are already open at the Jeep dealerships all over India.

For buyers who value comfort as much as presence, the Meridian Track Edition feels like a well-thought-out upgrade rather than just a cosmetic update.
