In earlier images reported by Motoroids, it was claimed by the photographers who snapped the images of the new Hyundai ix25 prototype that they have spotted a window sticker which reveals that the SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that is mated to an automatic transmission. The test mule also boasted of all-wheel drive system. It is also expected that the upcoming Hyundai Compact SUV is likely to get an 1.0 liter, direct injection, turbocharged petrol engine which will place it against Ford’s EcoBoost.

We saw the hints of the ix25 at the Beijing Auto Expo and we are eagerly waiting for Hyundai to introduce this in the Indian car market.
