Hyosung developing 250cc off road bike for Indian market

Bike manufacturers in the country are gradually getting serious about the segment that was kick started by our Indian manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp with the launch of the Impulse 150cc dual terrain bike. Our regular readers should remember that we have reported in detail about the upcoming GT250R, the 250cc sister of the GT650R sports bike. However, this is not all that is header our way. While the manufacturer will soon come up with the GT250R & GT250N, the Korean bike maker is also developing a 250cc of road bike for the Indian market. The upcoming motorcycle will be called as the RT250D and will play a perfect elder brother to the RT125D, which is on sale in the International market. The 250cc off roader will be assembled in India and should come to us by mid 2013.

  1. Hyosung's philosophy is simple.
If they are allowed to use Suzuki engines, they can <impliedly> use their designs as well.

PS: I dont think that the 650 looks like the 'Busa

  2. The Hyosung GT650 is a Lookalike of the Suzuki Hayabusa, and this Warthog Looking Bike is a copy of the Suzuki Vanvan… What next Suzuki bike is gonna be copied?!?! only time will tell
