Next week is going to be exciting (to put it mildly) as the 2016 EICMA will serve as the platform for new unveils in the two-wheeler space. Few of the most anticipated motorcycles of the year, the new 2017 KTM Duke 390/200/125 will debut at the motoring event. Sharing the stage with the Austrian pocket rockets would be Stefan Pierer (KTM’s CEO) owned Husqvarna motorcycles.

Along with KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles too released a teaser video of their upcoming motorcycle and going by the footage, we believe its the Vitpilen 401 which will arrive at the motoring event. We may also see other models from the Vitpilen family at the event. The motorcycle will arrive two years after making its debut at the 2014 EICMA motor show.
The 401 Vitpilen will share components such as the trellis frame, swingarm, suspension and engine with the KTM 390 Duke that are produced at Bajaj’s plant in India. However, according to reports, these components would be exported to the Company’s Mattighofen plant where the motorwill be assembled. That being said, the styling of the Vitpilen 401 will be quite different than the Austrian roadster and the Vitpilen will get a future-retro look.
