Honda CBR250RR goes topless in the latest render
Honda fanboys had a reason to rejoice in July earlier this year when the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer revealed the CBR250RR. Now, five months after the global reveal, there are talks that the Company might be contemplating a naked street fighter of the CBR250RR. Let us make it clear though that Honda Motorcycles have not confirmed any details regarding such a development.
A render shared by motorcycle blog Motoblast gives us an idea of what the naked version of the CBR250RR could look like. Power for the CBR250RR naked street fighter would be drawn from the same 249.7cc parallel twin engine seen on the fully faired sibling that is capable of producing 38.7 PS of power at 12,500 rpm while the peak torque of 23.3 Nm comes up at 11,000 rpm. Power will be sent to the rear wheel via six speed transmission.
While the Naked street fighter will lose most of the fairing up-front, it will also borrow a few significant cues from its fully faired sibling such as the LED headlamps, fully digital instrument cluster, split seat setup and the twin stacked exhausts.
If the Honda CBR250RR naked street fighter does manage to make it to the production line, it would rival the Kawasaki Ninja Z250 and the Yamaha MT-03. Sadly though, neither the fully faired CBR250RR nor its naked street fighter sibling are likely reach Indian shores.
