The Hero MotoCorp Hunk is likely to go the Xtreme Sports way and get a more powerful engine along with updated graphics. In fact the launch might be around the corner as a test of this 150cc motorcycle was recently caught testing during test runs.
The motorcycle, although camouflaged, was conspicuously emblazoned with the “Hunk” logo on the tank and also sported golden graphic highlights. The new Hunk is likely to retain the same design as its predecessor, but the headlight might have gone under the scalpel for a refreshed look. The engine, however, is likely to be re-tuned for higher power output.
In terms of mechanical updates, the new Hunk will most probably share its powerplant with the newly updated Hero MotoCorp Xtreme Sports. The 149.2cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke unit on the updated Xtreme Sport delivers 15.6 bhp of power and 13.5 Nm of torque and we expect to see similar power output on the new Hunk as well.
As we said above, the test mule in the spy images is equipped with the brand logo and graphics and hence we can expect to see the updated Hunk in showrooms around the festive season this year. The motorcycle may carry a premium price over the current model but we would hold our thoughts on that front for now.
