Harley Davidson 120 Years Edition Revealed

Harley Davidson has unveiled a slew of anniversary edition bikes across the Softail, Touring, and CVO lines to celebrate its 120th birthday. In addition, the Breakout has returned to the lineup, and the bar-and-shield marque has displayed the new Nightster Special and an updated Nightster.

The Fat Boy 114, Heritage Classic 114, Street Glide Special, Road Glide Special, Ultra Limited, and CVO Road Glide Limited are all part of the Harley Davidson 120th anniversary lineup.

In a tribute to its illustrious past, Harley Davidson is marking its 120th birthday by releasing a number of models with a special paint option called “Heirloom Red.” Additionally, each bike has a red pinstripe, golden Harley Davidson logos, black/red stitching on the seat, and laser-etched serial numbers on the tank. All anniversary edition models are mechanically identical to the standard variants aside from these cosmetic changes.

After a three-year hiatus, Harley Davidson has brought the Breakout nameplate back, and it now comes with the 117ci (1,923cc) V-Twin engine from the CVO lineup. Harley Davidson has given the Breakout a larger, front-facing air filter and an 18.9-litre fuel tank to improve airflow to the engine (up from the 13.25-litre unit the Breakout came with earlier).

For this year, the Breakout also gets optional traction control and cruise control. In fact, this year’s models of every Softail have cruise control as a standard feature.

The CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary, which features the heritage paint scheme and is only available in 1500 units, has been introduced by the American bikemaker. The Fat Boy, Fat Bob, Breakout, and Low Rider S models of the Softail line will be updated with cruise control and non-lean-sensitive traction control.

A pillion seat is included as standard, and the Harley Davidson Nightster Special has been formally unveiled. It has a number of different design elements from the standard Nightster, including silver cast alloy rims, bar-end mirrors, and a Harley Davidson logo in the style of the 1970s.

The front bikini fairing, which is currently only available on the Nightster Special, is removed from the Harley Davidson Nightster for 2023. Redline Red is a new colour option. Both bikes have the same 975cc V-Twin engine, which produces 90 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque, and are mechanically identical.
