Ford Figo and Aspire likely to receive touchscreen infotainment system

Recent reports suggest that Ford will soon equip the Figo and the Figo Aspire with a touchscreen infotainment system. It is said that the change is being undertaken following the growing demand for touchscreeen systems that can be seen across various segments.

Likely to make its debut during the model year update, the new touchscreen system could require a redesigned dashboard or the center console. Currently, the company offers the 4.2 inch, Multi Function Display with a blue backlit LCD screen on the top-end variant while the lower trims receive line MFD screen paired to a MyFord Dock feature that lets one store, mount and charge a smart phone, MP3 player or satellite navigation system, and integrate the aforementioned devices into the car’s entertainment system.

It is not known whether the company will feature the Sync 2 system as seen on the 2016 Ford Endeavour or a completely new infotainment system will make its debut.
