FIAT India has officially launched a new variant of the Punto supermini – the 90HP Diesel. Essentially this is the same Punto hatchback but now sports the 90PS variable-geometry turbo powered 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine from the Linea sedan. The car has been launched only in the Emotion Pk trim all will co-exist with the current Punto range. Contrary to earlier speculations, the car does not sport any new graphics or paint schemes. The FIAT Punto 90HP Diesel has been priced at Rs. 6.79-lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Visit your nearest Tata-FIAT showroom for prices in your city/zone. Test rides should commence soon.
