As the motor industry in India preps itself for the upcoming festival season, Hero MotoCorp decided to give its Maestro 110cc scooter a cosmetic makeover to make it ready for the seasonal onslaught. This male-centric scooter receives retro-grade red and white dual-tone paint finish which comes off as classy. Hero MotoCorp calls this new paint-scheme, Groovy Medley (swanky naming, Hero). The scooter also comes in other colours such as Panther Black, Magnetic Matt Grey, Force Silver, Vital White, Blazing Red and Electric Blue.
Hero has gone one step further with the red and white paint job and offered up some neat graphics, to to keep the design looking crisp and in an attempt to break the monotony. And that has worked since this particular Maestro looks handsome and all-ready for the festive bonanza season that lies ahead of it. From the consumer-end, if you expected Hero to tweak the Maestro’s engine to go with its new clothing, you would be wrong, as the Maestro suave-edition comes with the same 109cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine that dishes out 8.2 PS of maximum power and 9.1 Nm of peak torque. This means you will look cool riding this Maestro, but won’t be going any quicker than the regular one. That said, it rides just as well as the latter.
Hero MotoCorp has priced this scooter at Rs. 52,360 (ex-showroom Mumbai) and we think it will get a lot of takers just for the way it looks.
