Want to Escape Your Daily Race? More specifically, the drudgery and dullness with which each day seems to pass?? Then KTM has the perfect answer for you.
KTM has launched a contest titled Escape Your Daily Race on their official Facebook page. It is a photo and video uploading contest, where users would be required to upload their content on the FB page. The Escape Your Daily Race will stretch out till October 2014, and it will consist of 10 separate challenges. Each challenge will last two weeks, and will be replaced by a new challenge after the stipulated two weeks time.
Infact, the time window for the First Challenge has expired.
It asked participants to post a mugshot of their face while they were racing, on the wall of the KTM Official Facebook page. Participants had to tag the photos with #KTMRC #Challenge1. The prizes on offer were a KTM Racing branded toaster, a To Go Cup along with an espresso cup set and a power opener, plus a Go Pro camera!
Now, each such challenge will have its own set of goodies as prizes. A participant will gather votes for the uploaded videos and photos. They will also receive special badges at the end of each challenge. At the end of ten challenges, the one with the most number of votes as well as badges will be declared as the winner of the Escape Your Daily Race contest.
The 1st Challenge spanned from 17th June to 30th June. The second challenge is already underway, from the 1st of through 14th of this month.
No worries if you have missed the 1st challenge! You can still take part in the remaining 9 challenges, and still have a decent shot at the Pole Position in the Escape Your Daily Race contest.
The prizes that will be given away to the winners of the whole contest are definitely inspiring! The winner will get a brand new KTM RC390, and a chance to feature in the next video of the KTM RC390. The runners-up will get his hands on a KTM RC125. The third position holder, on the other hand, will have to contend with owning the KTM RC125 for one season. 😀
