We have been informed that the Chevrolet Enjoy will be launched in India on May 9. The car has been spotted testing on numerous occasions and we recently spent a day testing both the engine variants of the upcoming MPV. The Chevrolet Enjoy will battle it out against the Nissan Evalia and the high selling Maruti Suzuki Ertiga along with being an indirect rival to the Toyota Innnova.
The Enjoy will be launched in India with both petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel engine variant, which is sure to be the more popular of the two variants, will be powered by the 1.3 Multijet engine that powers many cars in Indian car market. The tried and tested diesel engine develops a  maximum power of 77.5 PS and a peak torque rating of 188 Nm for the Enjoy.
The petrol variant of the Enjoy will be powered by a 1.4 Litre four cylinder normally aspirated gasoline engine that has been derived from that of the Aveo’s petrol engine. The engine has a max power output of 103 Bhp and a peak torque figure of 131 Nm. The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission.
The Enjoy is a really spacious and well sorted out vehicle that might do pretty well in the taxi markets.
As we said earlier, we have driven both the variants of the car and will be posting a full review of the upcoming MPV in couple of days. Till then, enjoy  the images of the new car.

Looks spacious. It would be great if you can tell me more about other details. Like the mileage, tank capacity, etc. It may have a greater scope than just the taxi market.
Hi. .Yes. We drove the car on broken roads and No roads, with plenty of speed breakers thrown in on decent roads. The car has more than enough ground clearance to deal with all this.
Hello Yatharth,
I read in another automotive blog that Ground Clearance is 161mm for Enjoy. But it’s mentioned here that it has decent Ground Clearance… Can you throw more light on this… Did you try driving the vehicle on speed breakers and rough roads ( where most of India drives )… Please share your experiences…
