Bajaj Auto, the Pune based auto marquee which is the largest manufacturer of 3 wheeler passenger vehicles revealed the new range of ‘RE’ vehicles earlier today. The RE vehicles are well known for their exceptional performance, user friendliness and value for money. With the introduction of the new range of RE vehicles, this phenomenon has turned out to be nothing but ‘moRE’. The new range of RE vehicles are now BS-III compliant thus making it more Eco friendly.
The RE 145D has been given additional features. The 3-wheeler passenger vehicle is claimed to have the capacity to return 15% more mileage. The vehicle comes with an even more comfortable driver’s seat and also features a better twin fork suspension. The RE 145D now comes with twin halogen headlamps instead of the regular single mud guard mounted headlamp. The windshield also is a single piece one thus, contributing to better visibility. The RE 145D will come with 1 year warranty or warranty up to 40,000 km. the vehicle will be available in 3 different variants including petrol, CNG and LPG.
The RE 445M has been designed by the Bajaj Auto R&D to deliver maximum mileage with lowest acquisition and operating costs. The passenger vehicle is claimed to have the capacity to return a mileage of 36 kmpl under actual operating conditions. The RE 445M also boasts of more leg space and luggage space. The vehicle also features many unique facilities like 7 plate hand clutch, UJ Cross Propeller Shaft and Stronger Body which helps reduce maintenance costs. Like the RE 145D, the RE 445M also features twin halogen head lamps, single piece windshield as well as the twin fork suspension.
Both the vehicles are set to be launched in a phased manner across the country. The RE 145D and RE 445M will come with a price tag of Rs. 97,973/- (Petrol Ex Showroom Pune) and Rs.1,21,367/-(Ex-Showroom Pune.) respectively.
