Apollo Tyres to offer immediate assistance service to its customers with one touch response tie-up

One Touch Response (OTR), a technology led demand safety and assistance services company announced an association with Apollo Tyres for increasing the safety quotient of Apollo’s customers. As part of the tie-up, Apollo Tyres will provide one touch response’s on demand safety and quick assistance services for a number of emergencies such as, being caught in an accident, fire or a medical situation, road rage, stalking, or eve-teasing. The service will be provided free of cost to its customers on the purchase of their tyres from January 2016.

Under this program,  the company will offer a one year free subscription of OTR’s services to customers who purchase a set of 4 Apollo car radial tyres, and a half-yearly subscription to customers who buy a set of 2 Apollo car radial tyres. This offer is available at all their retail outlets across Delhi & NCR.

OTR’s services are accessed via a touch of the button through its app (available on iOS, Microsoft and Windows) or on the phone.  On-call assistance is available soon after a user raises an alarm via the app. While the incident managers at the company’s command and control centre are hand holding the user during the crisis over the phone, the on ground physical support teams called Immediate Assistance Teams (IATs) are alerted to reach the subscriber within minutes. IATs then remain with the user till the emergency is resolved. Depending on the nature of the emergency, the company coordinates with external agencies such as the police, ambulance, medical services, fire, cab services, mechanics on behalf of the subscriber.
