Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra Group, just got himself a heavily customized TUV300 for personal use. Even during presenting the TUV300 for the first time, he appeared to be quite smitten by the vehicle, and had expressed his desire to get one for himself. The vehicle bears the “1555” registration number, which is apparently his preferred number.

All the embellishments on the boss’s car are genuine Mahindra accessories. Finished in olive green, Mr. Mahindra’s TUV300 features the “Armour Body Kit” – we’re still on the battle tank themed page here guys – which include front and rear stone guards, side cladding, front bumper extensions, fat wheel arches, marker lamps with a shroud on the roof,  and something called a “Bonnet Hull”.

Furthermore, Mahindra Genuine Accessories will add shine to your TUV300 with chrome accents all over the body, including the grille, bumpers, door handles and the ORVMs. Also on the offing are luggage and bicycle racks, side steps and new alloy wheels. The interiors can be customized with a myriad of options, which range from different dashboard trims to a fancier infotainment system, and everything in between. Have a look at the TUV300 Accessories brochure below:

The TUV300 is Mahindra’s first crack at the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment, and is powered by a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces  80 BHP and  230 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. An AMT is also available as an option, making the TUV300 AT the cheapest diesel-automatic SUV on sale in the country today. Prices for the Mahindra TUV300 start at INR 6.90 lakh.
