2013 Lamborghini Aventador to come with cylinder deactivation system

The impact of rising fuel prices is so bad that it even supercar manufacturers are now coming up with techs to stretch a litre of petrol to a few extra miles. Lamborghini, maker of some really extravagant performance cars, is all set to launch cylinder deactivation technology in its cars. The new system deactivates six-cylinders when they aren’t needed. The new system will debut in 2013 Aventador and will help the popular supercar to become more fuel-efficient and emit less CO2. It is being said that the 2013 edition of Aventador will have an average fuel efficiency of about 6.25 kilometers per litre. The 2013 Aventador will also get stiffer springs and retuned dampers for better ride & handling package.
