Mahindra and Mahindra have said that the company will stop the production of its tractor plant at Rudrapur and Jaipur for four days citing lower demand. This production halt will take place in the month of October.
In a filing with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Mahindra and Mahindra said, “The management does not envisage any adverse impact on availability of tractors in the market due to adequacy of tractor stocks to serve the market requirements.”
This is not the first time that Mahindra and Mahindra has stopped production due to weak demand. One such production pause took place in August when the company stopped production for four days across its automotive plants.
