It seems like Mahindra wants to make the most of the current Scorpio before giving it a revamp. Regulars to Motoroids would know that Mahindra is busy readying a facelift for the Scorpio but now it seems that we would first get a Special Edition of the Scoprio, before the facelift arrives.
Seen here is a teaser image of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio Special Edition. The Special Edition of the facelift would come with “some luxurious features” and really mild visual updates (read: decals).
It is expected that the Scorpio Special Edition would get leather upholstery, a DVD player, roof mounted LCD screen, park assist and some more bells and whistles.
Talking about the upcoming facelift, the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio would come with an entirely new front end that would have a new bumper, new grille, revised headlamps and probably new fenders. Also, the car would get a revised rear end and interiors. Also, the car would get additional equipment and re-tweaked engines. It is also possible that the car would get a slight price cut.
