When something starts with a countdown, it’s almost like a giveaway that the activity involves the participant to be quick, fast, athletic, sometimes innovative. Honda wants you to do just that, as you watch their latest commercial. It involves a series of words which appear on the screen in a blur and just when you think its difficult to connect them and read, the advert makes you want to push your limits a little more, and suddenly, you start registering words even as they do a fly-by at a fairly quick pace.
What also does a fly-by in the new commercial is the 2015 Honda Civic Type-R, which the Japanese giant is about to reveal at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Apparently, the 2015 Civic Type R is rumored to achieve a 270 km/h top speed, propelled by a direct injected 2.0 litre VTEC TURBO engine that develops anything between 280 to 300 PS, further aided by a flat underside, a functional rear diffuser and a bespoke rear wing alongside 19-inch alloy wheels over 350 mm cross-drilled Brembo brakes. What finally makes it across the line in the video is the long awaited new NSX, which is arguably one of the most desirable cars to be launched this year.
