Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI) have started the deliveries of their all new Navi scooter in Hyderabad. The first Honda Navi to ride into the city was delivered to its owner at a gala delivery event organised by the Navi-maker. The standard Navi retails in the city of Hyderabad for an ex-showroom price of INR 41,619. It is available in 5 colour options – Patriot Red, Hopper Green, Shasta White, Sparky Orange & Black and with a wide range of customization parts can be bought from the showrooms.

The Navi is developed by Honda R&D India from the ground up. The concept development and commercial production has been completely taken care of by the Indian arm. The scooter was launched at the 2016 Auto Expo held earlier this year and garnered a lot of cheer from the visitors. Following the launch the company received a huge response from customers with the sales crossing 5000 units across seven cities – Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai & Ahmedabad. This happened in just over a period of a month.
A four stroke SI engine makes the Navi a fun ride. The 109cc motor under the seat makes 7.83 Bhp at 7,000rpm and an automatic (V-Matic) transmission impels 8.96Nm of torque to the rear wheel. At the delivery event, Keita Muramatsu – President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said that Navi has been very close to their hearts since the concept development stage. The overwhelming response brings re-assurance of its acceptance by India’s youth. Now it is all set to excite the young trendsetters of Hyderabad.
