The annual Southern H.O.G. rally returns in its third year as Hyderabad is all set to open its doors to give a roaring welcome to hundreds of Harley-Davidson owners and their families as they come together from 26th – 28th September, 2014 for the third edition of Southern H.O.G. Rally.
Harley riders from across all 13 H.O.G. Chapters will come together for the largest gathering of Harley-Davidson motorcycles that South India has ever witnessed with riders coming from as far as Chandigarh and Kolkata. Banjara H.O.G. Chapter, Hyderabad will play host for two days as Harley owners come together to celebrate their love for riding, cumulatively covering over thousands of kilometers.
Harley-Davidson India’s zonal rallies are mini bike festivals with a host of activities that reflect the true ethos of the enjoyment in Harley-Davidson style. Activities will include burnouts, mechanized bull rides, arm-wrestling and much awaited H.O.G. Custom Contest that invites entries from all H.O.G. members across India to find the best customized motorcycle. Touted as a weekend off the leash, the 3rd edition of Southern H.O.G. Rally would also be the first zonal rally to welcome the new Harley-Davidson Street 750 owners to the brotherhood.
Talking about the tremendous response received for the Southern H.O.G. Rally from last year, Shiva Swamynath, Director Coromandel Chapter, Chennai said, “Last year, more than 350 riders came together for the 2nd Southern H.O.G. Rally in Mahaballipuram. The sheer camaraderie of the H.O.G. brotherhood had fuelled the tempo making it a ride to remember. This year, we have passed the baton to our brothers over at Banjara Chapter, Hyderabad and look forward to what they have in store for us!”
