One of most sought after luxury car brand in the world, Bentley Motors has launched a new app for Apple Watch users and Bentayga owners. With an objective to get the Luxury of control on the customer’s wrist, Bentley Bentayga passengers will now be able to control a selection of in-car systems from their Apple Watch.
To use the app, you need a Bentley Bentayga and an Apple watch. The app can be downloaded from the Apple’s app store and then by using the Bentyaga’s Bluetooth connectivity, Apple Watch wearers can synchronise with the SUV’s Touch Screen Remote (TSR) system. The technology uses a custom-made digital architecture that enables those being driven in the Bentayga to remotely control the on-board climate and entertainment systems. The users can adjust the heating, ventilation and massage functions of their seats while monitoring real-time information, such as vehicle speed, distance travelled and outside temperature.
Speaking of the new Bentley Bentayga’s app, Dan Whittaker, Director of Electrical and Electronics at Bentley, expressed that Bentayga is technologically advanced and combines this with luxury in a way only Bentley can achieve. This new Apple Watch connectivity is another example of how the company is constantly innovating in order to enhance the customer experience.
